Our Role:
Barling Fire is an aggressive and progressive ISO Class 3 department located in Western Arkansas between Fort Smith, Fort Chaffee, and Central City. We provide fire suppression, fire prevention education, rescue, and medical first response.
Mission Statement:
This is to provide for emergency fire & rescue protection to the citizens of Barling, Arkansas during a natural disaster, man-caused peacetime disaster or emergency. Barling fire has an organized and equipped fire and rescue service, which has secured mutual aid agreements with incorporated cities and towns in the county as well as nearby cities and towns in adjoining counties. These agreements will provide Barling fire with an augmented fire and rescue capability for emergency operations during peacetime disasters.
Barling Fire maintains an ISO Class 3 rating.
