Florene Brown has been the Barling City Clerk since December 2014. She is a member of the Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Arkansas City Clerks, Recorders and Treasurers Association (ACCRTA.) She is also a certified public official.
The City Clerk’s office maintains all official records of proceedings and documents. The clerk serves as a recorder for the City Council meetings. The clerk maintains and provides access to all official city documents, including City Council minutes, ordinances, and resolutions.
